Xiaomi is gearing up for a press event next week, and rumor has it the company
could have an armload of new devices to announce. That includes at
least one new phone, an upgraded tablet and maybe even the firm’s first
smartwatch.
According to Chinese tipster Leaksfly, the company will release a new watch at the upcoming event. The post doesn’t include any other details, though this isn’t the first time we’ve heard whispers of a Xiaomi smartwatch. According to earlier reports, the device could target the high-end market with a brushed metal design. The new wearable would run a modified version of Xiaomi’s Android-based MiUI.
